hello and a question...

Greetings from Richmond, texas, USA!! :)

I have always wanted a Min-Cooper, and finally ordered a 2011 clubman s about 3 weeks ago. The car is now built, and has been sitting in Southhampton, England for a week waiting for transport. Last time I checked with my dealer, the car was not yet scheduled for a ship.

How long, in general, does it take to get a car onto a ship? Was hoping that someone here would have an idea about this. Just curious as I am really exited and anxious to get my new mini

Congratulations on your order! The wait is unbearable, but then the car comes, and you forget how long it felt. I ordered a 2011 clubman s as well, mid September or so, and mine is on a ship passing the west coast of central America en route to port hueneme, ca. I'm honestly not sure where your MINI would be processed, but possibly the same location (west coast processing facility, but I'm not sure if Texas draws from there or the east coast facility).
