Looking at a countryman and the dealer is telling me price is not negotiable. I have ask several dealers for prices but thought I'd post here to see if anyone has any comments on this.

Thanks for any insights.

Sorry, but MINI is notorious for not negotiating on price. You will need to negotiate on the trade-in and for some free stuff.

Yup Minis sell without dealers needing to drop the price, it's good for residuals as well.

Hello guys....!
The price point for the MINI's has gotten too high compared to other available cars. They need to include more standard equipment at the current prices IMO.
For perspective though, we in the USA have nothing to whine about compared to other markets. Ask the British, Canadians & other euros what they think of MINIUSA's pricing.

Any time the dealers get a new model and a limited supply they are going to add to the MSRP prise and hold out for those willing to pay extra.

After time they will not be so rare and you will be able to get one for a more resonable price. Once they have more and more on thier lot they want to move you will be able to get a better price.

If you order one they should not be tacking on a premium to the MSRP. If they do I would shop around online and find a dealership that will order one for you and ship it to your local dealership for a courtesy delivery.

I got my 2011 Clubman at the beginning of December for $1,500 under MSRP.
Not a tremendous deal but better than having to pay MSRP.
