yeah, they are hitting the snow thing hard. posed this on a separate thread but wondering how well the mini countryman really does in snow (I know, I know - I must be crazy asking the question since it says it does great right there in the commercial! ;) )

When I took an ALL4 for a test drive, the Motoring Adviser tried to get me to take into a field full of snow so that i could see how it handled in the snow. But I missed the turn...guess I was going too fast...having too much fun. But you're right - they ARE emphasizing its capabilities in foul weather. This a good thing for those of us living in areas that have seen a horrible winter this year. I'm in NYC...and we have now surpassed 40 inches of snow for the season.

A friend in Chicago just sent this pic. Mini Classic on top of Mini Countryman, parked right outside his bookstore in Chicago. Will try and insert into this post ... wish me luck ....

WHo else saw the Mini Countryman Super bowl spot? I thought it was pretty funny. Walked the line between clever and over the top / offensive. Here's a link in case you missed it:

As you'd expect, it doesn't make you invulnerable (like some people assume AWD does), but it clearly has a pretty amazing impact.

I know that pics of these types of billboards have been posted. But this one wraps around 3 sides of an office building in the middle of Times Square. There's a blue Countryman on the east side of the building and a red one on the west side.

Sorry for the crappy photo...but it was like 17 degrees out today and I was running to grab some lunch.
