newbie needs help

Hi I have just bought an 03 Cooper S.
Not yet received the Handbook and I was wondering, Under the Handbrake there is a button (not the mirror button) that you can press. But I dont know what it does.
Can anyone tell me please

I've got no idea, but i just downloaded the owners manual in prep for the arrival of the cooper S.
Search google for mini cooper s owner manual.

It took a little while, but worked.

does it have a picture of what looks like a flat tyre with an "!" mark inside it. If so it is used for resetting the tyre warning system it wont do anything if you just press it. If you press and hold it turn on the ignition and wait till an amber light appears on the dash with the same pic and then let go it resets the system to the tyre pressures you are running at present. Only do this if you set your tyre pressure, replace a tyre/s and this system works and will let you know if you have a puncture or a big pressure drop in 1 of your tyres
