How many miles on your Mini?? I just hit 50,000 :)

My August 04 Cooper just hit 50k miles and I've loved every mile of it :D

I'm starting to wonder how many miles I can get out of her with regular maintenance and servicing. I'd love to keep her for years to come.

Anyone know any Minis that have hit real high mileage like 100k?

8,000 miles on mine. It's my daily driver. I got a bike for when I need some real CRAZY speed :D 100k miles shouldn't be a problem with these cars I would think as long as you take care of it but I don' tknow what from personal experience just my theory.

I just bought an '02 S with just under 50,000. Had it for about a month now. Loved it so far with absolutely no problems

Zero and Zero. Sorry folks, we have not received ours yet. New MINI owners. My wifes will be a daily driver but mine will be used a couple times per week. I have an 05 GTO and it is my daily driver. I have 77,000 on my GTO now and it still runs perfectly. And I drive it like a GTO should be driven. So I would think if you take care of your MINI's they should be able to get well over 100,000 miles. If the GM car can make it 100K (and I have no reason to think it won't.) the MINI should be able to make many more miles.

Anyway, once we get our cars I'll share pics and keep everyone updated on the miles.

hi mines just hit 30k but i work for bmw and have seen many minis come in with over 130k on clock already :) so you will get plenty from yours! !

think the most we had was a cooper s with 157000 lol and didnt drive too sad either !

You should be able to easily get 100,000 miles out of your MINI with regular maintenance and proper driving (and that's a safe estimate). I've got 42,000 miles, with no major problems (I have an '02 S), and I drive my MINI the way they were meant to be driven :p You should be able to get beyond 150,000 with your R50, so long as your gearbox stays in tact -- and that is by driving properly, and some luck. A problem you may possibly have will be with the gearbox, as it is a general problem with that model, even if you are a good driver.

My mini is hitting 76,000 althoguh I have had to spend 500 pounds on the last MOt and it is giving me a bit of jip at the moment as they do not like the cold, can any one recommend to get a good weatherfield/ splashback for the engine.
