a lil help please

hello all. 99% sure im buying a cooper s works and have a few questions before i do so any help would be much appreciated...

currently lookin at a '02 works with 60k on the clock
what sort of things should i look out for
any common issues with a car of this spec from this year
how often do the chargers need servicing

or idealy which year, spec etc would i be best of lookin for bearing in mind it has to be an r53 works

also, can the black mesh aero grill be fitted to a standard cooper s bumper
