Given that I'd select tyres to give the same rolling radius, is there any significant difference in ride comfort when going from 15" to 16" or 17" wheels? My particular car is a 2011 Mini One with standard suspension.

Also, what is the offset with the standard wheel. I haven't collected the car yet so I can't measure it.

I have a set of NM Engineering rims on my 2011 Mini S. They are 18" and feel great. Haven't had too many issues with ride comfort. Ride is smoother in the Mini with the 18's than my old Honda S2000 with 18's. My car did have aftermarket NM Engineering springs at first which made the ride rough, but I swapped it back out for the stock springs and every things great.
