1st Ever BMW Mini - Advise Needed

Hi Guys n Gals. New to BMW Mini's. Based in Liverpool (nr Airport)

Picking up my 1st ever BMW MINI next week. 56 Plate Cooper automatic. Had plenty of Classic mini's in the past.

Are there any general BINI hang outs or things i should be aware of.

also.

Where is good to get parts for

Performance
Road Handling
Styling etc.

make sure you test drive the automatic before you buy. its not like a standard auto it uses a CVT box which I find to be very jerky and hard to control during slow manovers and accelerationg it just saps the power away. other than that check that the coolant level is ok and not dropping find out if its had a thermostat replaced as these are very prone to leaking. hope this helps and enjoy your new car
