good or bad?

would it be a good or bad decision to change the size of the tire? On my MINI I have 195/55/16, I have done some checking around and have found a set of H rated General tires that have gotten rave reviews for $400. the only prob is I can only get them in 205/50/16. it is shorter and wider, will it make a difference in odometer and if so how much, will it affect gas mileage? and should it affect handeling. I will be going from stock run flats that are v rated to non runflats that are h rated. Any input welcome.

Size is so close that you shouldn't notice any difference in mileage. As for the handling......who knows. I have never had Generals so I don't know how they would compare, but my first impression would be that you will get the kind of handling you pay for.
