CD player issues

help, i need to change the headunit in my 05 plate mini. iv heard there a lot of hassle but its not somthing i can just leave, so i need all the advice i can get. had a look this afternoon nd i cant see an easy way of getting the original head unit out:s so please help

its not that hard, you have to undo the 2 upright side supports to the centre console, once they are undo (literally 2mins) if you gentally lift and pull them up this accesses All the centre units cd, heater controls and all........
