clutch/transmission squeak

I have two seperate noises occuring in my 2006 Cooper S. One is with the clutch pedal. When I press it in, there is a squeaking rubbery type noise coming from the engine area.

The other noise is occuring in the transmission when shifting gears. When shifting, it produces a squeaking noise.

Anyone else experience this?

Yeah only one of the problems the squeaking clutch but i only hear it when im sitting with the engine off and the window down its not your clutch only the cable !! As far a im aware all cars with a cable clutch make simalor noises.

Sounds like it might be the throwout bearing. These are a weak part from MINI.
