Wheel Spacers

Hi!

I'm looking to get a set of spacers (front & back) for my '02 Cooper S for my stock 17" Lites. Does anyone recommend sizes...?

Why do you think you need spacers?

of course, i'm trying to widen the stance of the car. right now i feel the tires can go out just a tad. your thoughts?

Don't bother.....to really get any kind of visual or performance benefit you would have to go to some rather large spacers. The problem with that is the greater risk of bearing/hub failure.

Probably better to just be happy with what ya got.....!

akuma I found that adding a set of coilovers improved the stance the car looked fatter and was on the floor the wheels also cambered out very nicely. have a look at my old mini the black 1 in the pic's section
