heres the score iv found a company called lohen who look to be the nuts!
they have a "cooper s starter kit" that includes:

Alta Reduced Supercharger Pulley
Gates belt to suit
Lohen Protector
Denso Iridium Spark Plugs
MSD Ignition Coil Pack
Magnecor KV85 Competition Leads

they do the pully in 15% and 17% reduction iv already heard from this forum that the 15 is the sweet spot so will no doubt go for that 1. this is all for 320pound which sounds alright to me but dont no if every one else shares my enthusiasm? has anyone done the pully change themselves? and how hard is it. do u reallyh need the "special" pully clamp? help please
thanks

You do have to get the pulley "clamp" (puller) as the OEM pulley is a press on pulley.

The Alta pulley is a good product, you definitely need a new belt, plugs are a good idea as long as they are 1 step colder than stock, the protector is a very nice piece of insurance, the coil pack adds nothing but color, and the leads are the same-just under bonnet bling.

You will need to get or rent a tensioner tool to do this installation yourself. Don't know about your area, but here in the states there are some vendors that will rent you one to do the job then you send it back after you are done. There are some very good how-to's available to show you how to do it if you feel comfortable with working on your car.

As for the price.......Alta (http://www.altaperformance.com/products/show/623/Pulley-Performance-Package-15-) has the same kit available for about $400 US (240GPB). Might want to check on shipping to see if it is a better deal.

lohen are the dogs b#@//~~ in england mate im thinking about getting the same kit myself . if you looking for a quick cheap boost to your bhp get yourself a induction kit , but make sure it has a heat shield included in the kit or else you will get a warm air flow straight to from your engine bay. warm air = less power. id defo think about lohen doing the work and not doing yourself a mate of mine tried to install a 15% reduction without the pulley removall tool and nearly ended up paying out for a new supercharger. hope this helps you a bit

If you are talking about the "lid" on the intake box, it is not needed as the boxes seal against the underhood insulation. No hot air problems.
