My wife's 2007 Cooper S needs a new set of paws. Any one have any experience with 195/55 R16 Michelin Energy Tires? I've been told these are runflats, which I do want to keep for my wife's peace of mind. However, when checking Michelin's website they make no mention of theses being runflats. The treadwear grade looks good @ 400, and they have a V speed rating and 87 load rating. We live in a warm climate and will not be in the snow much, if at all. The price quoted is $40.00 less for a set of four than the cost of replacing the Continentals we currently have.
I found one article that stated these may come standard on the Mini Diesal? Otherwise, I've not had much luck locating information.
