2006 vs 2009 comparison

I just bought a 2006 base model a couple of weeks ago and dearly love it already. Looking at the new 2009's, I considered trading up to get the 36K mile service package. My wife and I test drove one and was impressed with the ride and improved gas mileage but was disappointed with the interior. It just doesn't seem to be the quality of my 2006. The dashboard is higher which limits visibility and the engine seems to work harder to get to get to the 70 mph mark than my 2006.

Anyone had a similiar experience?
