Evening all,

I purchased an 02 mini cooper on Saturday and have noticed a pull to the left on the steering and it feels incredibly twitchy. The traction control is on, so that's not the problem and my warning light for the tyre pressures has not come on either.

Is it normal for the steering to be twitchy? Do you think the tracking just needs doing on it?

Thanks,

Craig

Does this happen on all roads or just some?

If it is consistent, you may have an alignment issue, if it is only on some roads then this is probably a case of "tramling". Which is when the car tends to try and follow the ruts in the road and it causes the car to "wander" while in a traffic lane.

what wheel& tyers combo do you have a as the 17 inch and the 16 inch with run flat tyers are very common for tramling. if you have these size tyers adjust your pressure to 2.1 bar all round i work for mini and its a problem we hear all the time hope this helps
